12,979 doses Covid-19 jabs administered in Rangpur Saturday

As many as 12,979 doses of Covid-19 jabs were administered on Saturday raising the number of inoculated vaccines to two crore 74 lakh 63 thousand and 580 doses in Rangpur division.

Health officials said, among the 12,979 doses of the jabs, 655 were administered as the first doses, 5,934 as the second doses and 6,180 as the booster doses.

“Till Saturday, a total of 1,35,09,112 poeple got the first doses of Covid-19 jabs, and of them, 1,26,47,063 got the second doses and 13,07,405 got the booster doses,” Divisional Director (Health) Dr Abu Md Zakirul Islam told BSS
today.

Meanwhile, the number of Covid-19 infected patients remained steady at 64,131 as no new positive cases were diagnosed after testing 22 samples on Saturday.

The number of healed Covid-19 patients remained steady at 62,782 in the division where no new patients recovered on Saturday in the division.

“The number of casualties also remained steady at 1,284 in the division as no new death was reported during the last 24 hours ensding at 8 am today,” Dr. Islam added.
