Two held with Phensidyl in C’nawabganj

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 96 bottles of  Phensidyl from Shibganj in the district last night.

The arrested were Md Azam Ali, 35, of Babupur village and Md Ramjan Ali, 30, of Umarpur Chimtapara village both under Shibganj upazila in the district.

RAB said, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp, on detective information, conducted a raid in Kansat Zohorpur area under the upazila at around 11 pm and arrested the duo with the bottles of Phensidyl.

Later, RAB handed them over to the police of Shibganj thana with a case, the sources added.
