
3 fraudsters were remanded over fake job circulars

A Dhaka court today placed three fraudsters on different terms of remand in a case lodged for realizing money from unsuspecting victims by publishing fake job circulars.
The three remanded accused are– Md Azibul Hasan alias Emran, Beuty Akter, and Md Kabir Uddin Piash.
Police today produced the trio before the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Begum Farah Diba Chonda and pleaded to place them on 10-day remand
each. After hearing the police plea, the court placed Emran and Piash on two-day remand each and Beuty on one-day remand.
On July 13, police arrested the three, in separate drives, from the capital.
According to the case documents, the accused are members of a fraud gang, that published fake job circulars in different dailies. As the job seekers
apply for jobs, the accused realize money from them in the name of different rules and regulations.
