Grameenphone service restored

Grameenphone network was restored and returned to normal service across the country after more than two hours of disruption.
Grameenphone head of communications Khairul Basher told the media that their network has been restored and become normal in operation.
“Due to disruption in fibre cut during road maintenance in Gazipur, Tangail and Sirajganj areas, some of our customers were facing connectivity problems,” he said.
Basher, however, said the situation has been brought under control and all the issues are currently resolved.
Grameenphone officials said the network was disrupted for two hours, users have been complaining of connectivity issues since before 11am today.
