Hamida Salam Khan dies
Staff Correspondent:- Eminent trade unionist and former president of Jatiya Sramik League Abdus Salam Khan’s wife Hamida Salam Khan died in a hospital in Dhaka on Wednesday morning. She was 80.
‘She had been suffering from colorectal cancer for the last six months and breathed her last at about 11:45am on Wednesday,’ said a press release.
She left her husband, two sons, four daughters and a host of relatives to mourn her death.
Her first namaj-e-Janata was held at Ibrahimpur in Dhaka and the second one was held in Tangail before she was buried in Tangail Town Graveyard, the release said.
