Mild to moderate cold wave continues in parts of country

Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions and the districts of Gopalgonj, Tangail, Kishoregonj, Feni, Jashore, Kushtia, Chuadanga, and Barishal and it may continue.
The weather may remain dry over the country, said a met release issued for 24-hour commencing at 9 am today.
Moderate to thick fog may occur in the north-western part and light to moderate fog may occur at some places elsewhere over the country from midnight to morning.
Night and day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The country’s maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 25.5 degrees Celsius at Cox’s Bazar and the minimum temperature today was 7 degrees Celsius at Rajarhat and Sayedpur.
The sunsets at 5.42 pm today and rises at 6.41 am tomorrow in the capital.
