Nazmul replaced by Jay Shah at ACC

Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hasan, who was also serving as the president of Asian Cricket Council since 2018, has been replaced by Jay Shah in the annual general meeting of the organisation which took place on Saturday via video conference.  Jay, who is also the secretary of Board of Control for Cricket in India, thanked his predecessor for his leadership and guidance in a media release sent by ACC.  The newly appointed president reaffirmed his commitment towards the all-round development of the sport in Asia through the use of innovation. He emphasised on the need to focus on target areas such as women’s cricket, age group cricket, sports medicine and science as well as on growth on the digital front.
