The youth has been identified as Abu Bakker Siddique alias Ratul, 30, son of Mostofa Kamal, a resident of Gabgachhi village under Sujanagar upazila in Pabna district.

On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a sudden raid at Grand Tofa Hall Building under Boalia Police Station in the city and arrested the youth.

Based on the information given by him the RAB members subsequently recovered a foreign pistol, one magazine and three rounds of bullets from an abandoned building at Sagarpara area under the same police station.

Addressing a press conference at his office conference hall today RAB-5 Commanding Officer Lt Col Reaz Shahrier said like other law enforcing agencies they have got the news immediately after the photo was posted on Facebook. He has no licensed pistol.

Since then they were conducting raids at different areas to catch him.
He said they had already got several allegations against Ratul who used his arms power to continue his drug dealing.

Lt Col Reaz Shahrier told the journalists that the pistol he is holding is illegal. He was a fugitive for a long time.
