RpMP awards five personnel for professional excellence

Rangpur Metropolitan Police (RpMP) today awarded its five personnel with crests, certificates and cash for professional excellence in discharging duties during last month (March).

RpMP Commissioner Mohammad Abdul Alim Mahmud distributed the awards to of his five members at the monthly crime assessment meeting for March-2022 held at his conference room.

He distributed the crests, certificates and cash among the five police personnel for their extra ordinary performances in handling crimes and maintaining law and order in the metropolis last month.

The awardees are: Sub-Inspector (SI) Md Mahmudul Hasan of Kotwali Thana, SI Md. Kamal Hossain of Mahiganj Thana, Assistant Sub-inspector (ASI) Md Ujal Hossain of Haragach Thana, SI Md Golam Morshed of the Detective Branch(DB)of  Police and Sergeant Anitya Kumar Barman of Traffic (South) of RpMP.

The RpMP Chief reviewed various criminal activities in the metropolitan area in March last and gave necessary directions to the police officials concerned for curbing crimes and maintaining law and order.

Additional Commissioner of the RpMP Md Mehedul Karim, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Headquarters and Admin Mohidul Islam, its DCCrimes Abu Maruf Hossain, DC City Special Branch Abu Bakar Siddique, DC Traffic Menhazul Alam and other concerned police officials were present.
