Seven snatchers arrested with arms in Ctg

Chattogram Metropolitan Police arrested seven snatchers with firearms from different areas in the city early today.
The arrested were identified as Hasan Mahmud, 40, Anwar Hossain, 35, Abdul Motin, 48, Mofidul Islam Hamza, 22, Suman, 26, Rana, 30, and Babul, 27.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abu Kashem Bhuiyan of Doublemooring police station said on information, police arrested them while taking preparations for a robbery.
Police recovered a Light gun, three knives, 14 stolen mobile phones, and Taka 15 thousand 700 in cash from their possession.
