Shakib trains alone with coaches

While the members of the Test squad were enjoying a day-off at the port city of Chattogram yesterday, star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan turned up at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium with the coaching staff for a training session.  Shakib, who is recovering from a groin injury, spent time at the nets alongside head coach Russell Domingo and batting coach Jon Lewis.  The 33-year-old also bowled in the nets, with Domingo playing the role of the batsman. The South African seemingly had a tough time negotiating the left-arm spin of the experienced campaigner.  Shakib joined the training session for the first time yesterday following a groin injury which he suffered during the third and final ODI against West Indies. He was kept under observation for 48 hours before he joined practise.  Apart from Shakib, pacer Taskin Ahmed was also seen at the ZACS but the speedster worked on his fitness.
