Skilled Auditors in Cash Incentive Audit Play Vital Role

Staff Correspondent:  A skilled auditor in cash incentive audit in export-import businesses plays an important role is said by Prof. Dr. Md. Salim Uddin, FCA, FCMA, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation. While speaking as the chief guest and keynote speaker at a one-day workshop on ‘Cash Incentive Audit’ recently organized by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (IABB), Chattogram Region. In his discussion Dr. Salim, Prof. of Accounting dept. of Chattogram University, gave a clear picture of the real problems that companies face in getting cash incentives.

The training workshop was held on December 11 at the Crystal View Auditorium of Hotel Agrabad in the port city of Chattogram.  ICAB, Chattogram Regional Committee President Mohammad Shahid, FCA inaugurated the workshop as the Chief Guest.  Bangladesh Bank General Manager Arif Hossain Khan, IBBL Zonal Head Nayer Azam and BGME First Vice President Syed Nazrul Islam were present as special guests at the inaugural function. 137 officers of different companies were present in the workshop as trainees.  Umme Sumaiya Jahan, ACA, conducted the workshop as Resource Person.
