State minister for social welfare visits flood-hit areas in Netrakona

State minister for social welfare Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru, MP, today visited different flood-hit areas under Barhatta and Netrakona sadar upazilas to see for himself the scenario of damage caused by the natural calamity.

Khasru talked to the flood affected people and inquired their condition and assured them of all possible help on behalf of the government.

He distributed relief materials including dry foods and cash money among the flood affected people.

Leaders of Netrakona district Awami League and its front organizations including prominent social worker and president of district Mohila Awami League Kamrunnesa Ashraf Dina and general secretary of district Red Crescent Society Gazi Muzammel Hussain Tuku were accompanied by the state minister during his visit.
