Bangladesh made a roadmap of their preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup with a 10-day camp in Adelaide in Australia and a tri-nation series in New Zealand.

Pakistan are the other team of the tri-nation series along with Bangladesh and New Zealand, confirmed Jalal Younus, the Cricket Operations Chairman of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

“Bangladesh will set up a 10-day camp in Adelaide in Australia and then will take part in the tri-nation series in New Zealand that also will involve Pakistan,” Younus said here today.

All of the matches of the tri-nation series will be held in Christchurch in New Zealand, he added.

“We will go to Australia much before the World Cup because we need to cope with the condition and hence the 10-day camp is planned. We’ll also play a match against Redbacks, the team of Australia’s Big Bash T20 tournament.”

The T20 World Cup is set to start from October 16 in Australia. Bangladesh however are drawn in tough Group-2 where they would have to take on teams like India and Pakistan. South Africa are the other team while two other teams will come from first round.

Bangladesh will play their first match against the runners-up of Group A on October 24 in Hobart. Then they will take on South Africa in Sydney on October 27, Group B champions in Brisbane on October 30.

The Tigers will take on India and Pakistan on November 2 and 6-both of the matches will be held in Adelaide.
