Two drug peddlers held with heroin in City

Members of Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in anti-drug raids arrested two drug peddlers with 2.10 kilograms of heroin from Darus Salam at Mirpur in the capital on Saturday night.
The DB in association with local police carried out the drives simultaneously at different parts of the technical road under Darus Salam Police Station on Saturday night and arrested the duo with the drugs.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police M Saiful Alam Mujahid of the airport zonal team of intelligence confirmed the matter.
The arrestees are – Al Amin and Zulmat. Police seized a truck for using it in drugs transport.
Later, police filed a case against the arrestees with respective police stations under the Narcotics Control Act.
